WHEN APPLYING FOR ASSISTANCE BRING THE FOLLOWING
- A picture ID or drivers license.
- For food assistance, the last four digits of the Social Security number for each person in the household.
- For utility assistance, identification and current utility bill.
The St Joseph Conference of the Society of St Vincent de Paul strives to continue the Vincentian mission by providing emergency assistance to the needy of Warren county. We share this service with our sister conference of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Our conference is staffed by volunteers and provides the following services and resources at the following times:
On Thursdays from 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
- Food Assistance
- Eligible households receive food every other week.
- Clothing Vouchers
- Eligible households may receive a St. Teresa Thrift Store voucher once every three months for each household member.
- Utility Assistance
- Financial assistance with utility bills is available once every six months, with a $50 maximum. Please bring identification and a copy of the current utility bill. Call (270) 393-9800 and listen to the voicemail to verify the date that vouchers will be issued.
What we have is for those in need or for those who are currently unemployed. We determine need and allocate resources depending upon limited resources (available money and volunteer time), we attempt to help every person who seeks financial assistance.
