Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly and efficient cashier to join our team at our thrift store. The ideal candidate will be able to provide excellent customer service, handle all sales transactions accurately, and handle cash and credit cards.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
• Operate point-of-sale system
• Handle all sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash and credit cards
• Bag items
• Answer customer questions and provide assistance as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in retail or customer service
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to count money and handle cash and credit cards accurately
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings

Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
