Donation Pickup Driver / Donation Center Assistant

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a donation pick up driver/ donation center assistant for St. Teresa Thrift Store. Must be able to operate a box truck. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record and be able to lift and transport heavy objects (25 pounds or more).

Responsibilities

• Pick up donations from donors’ homes or businesses
• Take items not able to be sold to dump
• Load and unload donations from vehicles
• Keep records of donations picked up or dropped off
• Accept donations from donors
• Presort donations
• Oversee general upkeep and maintenance of box truck

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours

Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
